By popular demand, the juried Artisan Market Streeterville is back for the fourth year! The free-to-the-public Market will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 10 and 11, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the airy and accessible Lurie Research Center, 303 E. Superior Street, on a Chicago Humanities Festival weekend—when Streeterville neighbors, people from metro Chicago and out-of-towners will be out and about this destination community.
To draw more buyers and complement returning vendors, we’re expanding both the number and diversity of vendors. We’re looking throughout Chicagoland to reach applicants who design, produce and sell collectible art and fine crafts in a variety of categories.
We will judge your work, based on three images that you provide, for originality, price/value, marketability and compatibility with other items.
The fees for space are as follows:
Half (6′x8′), $100
Full Small (10′x8′), $150
Full Large (10′x10′), $175
Double (10′x20′), $350
There is a $25 charge if you want electricity provided at your space.
Artisan Market Streeterville is sponsored by SOAR (Streeterville Organization of Active Residents). Because Artisan Market Streeterville is both a celebration of community and a fundraiser, a percentage of your gross sales will be donated to SOAR to benefit neighborhood programs (15% of the first $2,000, 10% of next $1,000, 5% of amount over $3,000). We hope you will also consider donating an item worth at least $50 to the Buyer’s Choice Raffle.
